Black Diamond may be still relatively new to the apparel aspect of the market, but they have entered with a BANG! We tested the Deployment Pocket Tee for Black Diamond and we happy to do so. This casual wool shirt combines traditional t-shirt looks with the functionality and versatility of a wool fabric. This shirt was not intended to necessaryily be the technical piece competiting with the other shirts here, but it offers a dynamic shirt that can easily transition from the streets to the trails quickly. The shirt wicked extremely well and kept our tester dry. One unique feedback, was that the shirt had numerous tags which required careful removal.

Pistol Pete Stoughton is an expatriate of Jersey. Never venturing far from the confines of the sidewalk, Pete slowly learned the joys of the trails in his post graduate years. Prior to an ACL surgery last year, Pete completed numerous ultra distances including a finish and preceding DNF at the Wasatch100. Some of Pete's greatest running accomplishments include a 5 minute mile at age 35 and PRs prior to his ACL surgery, and running with Dean Karnazas and the current record holder of the Fight for Air Climb (18,800' in 6 hours). Through these experiences, Pete has had the opportunity to work closely on product development and testing of companies such as Brooks, Patagonia, Merrell, Goretex and Hoka.
More importantly, Pete is a proud father of two beautiful children and happily married to an amazingly patient wife. In his spare time he is a teacher in Park City, UT and coaches the Park City High School Mtn Bike Team.
