Wasatch Mountain Wranglers adopt the Timpooneke Trail

The Wasatch Mountain Wranglers, partnering with the US Forest Service, adopted the heavily used Timpoonek trail on Mount Timpanogos in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah. This ~7 mile (each way) trail gains over 4k feet to the 11,750 foot summit of ‘Timp’, and users often find ways to make that trip a little shorter by cutting trail, which can be very damaging to the surrounding environment. In their first official trail work role, a group of Wranglers worked on one of the biggest trail cuts. We’re pretty sure no one will be going that way anymore! Great work!
