The toe box is snug, but still allows movement and the Ortholite insole coupled with the seamless no-sew midfoot support come together to create an extremely comfortable shoe. The heel to forefoot difference is 5mm with the heel at 28mm and the forefoot at 23mm which is enough to keep zero drop runners happy as well as those who are used to a bigger height difference from heel to toe. The wide outsole keeps the runners gait steady and the Early Stage Meta-Rocker effortlessly assists in propelling the wearer forward with a rocking chair action from initial landing to toe off.

For those using this as a trail shoe, you will be pleased with the fact that you do not lose ground feel when you gain cushion. The foot is protected from sharp rocks but you can still feel connected to the trail.
