The Outdoor Research Delirium shorts are a mixed recycled polyester/spandex short. These simple and yet attractive shorts have a small zip pocket in the rear of the waist for small items. The shorts have a 4.5″ inseam, contrasting waist band and UPF 50 stretchy wicking fabric.

At first appearance these seem like very traditional shorts. However, as we ran in them their designed comfortable became very obvious. They wear extremely well and have a great fit without being too tight or too loose in any unwanted areas. The quality of construction is exactly what runners have come to expect from Outdoor Research, and the fabric used in both the panels and waistband are very light and smooth. The waistband is probably the hero of this product. With a soft, almost vintage-tshirt feel to the fabric, the waistband never becomes a bother even in the late stages of a long day on the trails. They launder like a champ and still look brand new. While there is nothing particularly innovative about these shorts, they are a fantastic staple to keep on hand for those runs where you need something you know you can rely on every time at any distance. In addition, to being very functional, they look really great also.
