The North Face Better Than Naked split short is a lightweight breathable and comfortable running short. The TNF Better Than Naked Split Short is built with a 5″ inseam. It is designed with a breathable quick-drying liner made of FlashDry fibers to induce faster drying. The shorts include 5 utility pockets around the waist – four elastic pockets (2 on each side) and one zip pocket right in the middle. The shorts are incredibly lightweight and offer a wide range of movement and a reflective logo.
These shorts are probably the lightest running short we have ever put on, even if they are not they feel as though they are. They are very comfortable and at times it seems like you are running with nothing on at all, hence the Better Then Naked. The knit liner does an excellent job of keeping everything together without bouncing, which is surprising considering how light they are. We tested these shorts on shorter and longer runs, and they never disappointed in any situation. We loved the numerous pockets and storage areas for gels and keys. Small objects didn’t bounce at all. We could even fit our iPhone 6 in the rear zip pocket, although no sane person would prefer carrying it there even if it works. The shorts also dry very quickly and wick moisture away from the body very well. These really are as comfortable as anything you will find on the market. The only possible weakness is they are not insulated very well and we would not prefer these in cold temperatures. Our team has put hundreds of miles in these shorts, and they are some of our favorite to wear.
