The 2012 Leadville 100-mile run has over 1000 people registered. It’s not the hardest 100-mile race in the U.S., but it has quite the reputation due to the altitude and elevation gain.
Three of the TAUR writers are registered runners this year. I caught up with them and did a pre-race interview with Mark Kruezer, TR Maloney and Jerry Armstrong. The questions were based on several categories: Running Leadville, Goals, Training, Injury, and Nutrition.
Within each category I gave the guys room to tangent into conversation that felt relevant to their personal story. Sit back and enjoy the six-minute video of each runner as they consider their fitness level going into Leadville and offer their thoughts about their training as they taper and travel to Leadville.
