As the Trail and Ultra team works closely with brands such as Balega International, we have been greatly impressed with ways that brands and people in the TAUR community are giving back through multiple avenues to those in need.
Balega International, a leading performance sock brand in the run and outdoor specialty market, has continued their support the Breast Cancer Fund (BCF) for the third year in a row with the release of their limited edition Words of Grit and Grace Enduro Sock. One dollar per pair sold will go to the BCF, which works to eliminate cancer risks through public policy and educating consumers of the link between chemical exposure and breast cancer.
This year, they have embroidered three new inspirational messages into the toe of each bright colored and uniquely designed sock including: “Don’t mess with me”, “Yes I can” and “I am strong.” Together, Balega and the BCF are encouraging women to be healthy and reduce the risk of breast cancer.
For the next three months, TAUR will highlight community members who are echoing the spirit of generosity and philanthropic compassion through action. Two winners will be selected each month and will receive Balega International socks! Tell us your story and share the love!
