The Brooks Sherpa 2-in-1 running shorts are unique in that they offer a compression boxer-brief instead of just a breathable brief. On the brief is a cell phone or gel pocket (one side only) and is comfortable and easy to wear. There is an additional hip pocket for gels and a rear zip pocket for keys or maybe a phone. The lightweight, four way stretch fabric is breathable and comfortable on the run. The shorts offer a 5 inch inseam and come in 3 colors.

We actually really like these shorts. A few things to get out of the way. The cell phone pocket in the briefs will not hold an iPhone 6 or larger phone, at least not without a sticky case. Our phone (sans case) fell out twice. We were able to put it in the rear zip pocket, but it’s a very tight fit. There is no way you’d fit a phone larger than that in either pocket. The side pocket does work well for gels or pills, but it could use a little more elastic at the top, providing confidence in nothing falling out. Overall though, the shorts are extremely comfortable and lightweight. We love running in the boxer briefs and having a greater amount of support all around. We would highly recommend these shorts.
