While the Winter Market is generally focused around… well… winter, there’s no shortage of companies to visit and new products to see. Today the TAUR team spent a lot of time lining companies up our 2013 gear reviews. 2013 marks a turning point for TAUR; we are moving from a single gear reviewer format to a wear tester format headed by Craig Lloyd. Companies such as Scott, Bjorn Daehlie, Nathan and many others are already on board.
One product we will be testing is the just released Scott T2 Knabalu. I’ve been in love with this shoe since I first saw it 6 months ago. With a new EVA foam they weight only 8.5 ounces and include a special drainage channels for clearing water. Although light it’s supposed to have remarkable cushioning.
Bjorn Daehlie is not a well know company in the US except to those nordic skiers. We’ll be testing some of their hats in the near future. All of their products are designed for protection in the front, venting in the back and stretch where it’s needed most. Although, designed for cross country skiing Bjorn Dahlie is some of the best clothing for runners on the market right now.
